The beach community of Venice, CA is stunned when a local girl's body washes up on its shore. The cause of death is no mystery. Leti Molloy, a 26 yr old artist, was shot in the head execution style. Joe Rivas, a special forces combat veteran and experienced homicide detective is assigned to the case, a case with seemingly no motive and no leads. Joe, also a local, reluctantly teams up with Leti's mother, and Oscar "e;Oz"e; Navarro, Leti's godfather, to solve her murder. The hunt leads to Kosovo and big Pharma and is joined by Jenny's mother, an Apache who grew up on the rez in Arizona.
