For years I stayed in what I would describe as sheer hell, a living nightmare. Abused by a man I thought loved me. It is important for you to realize that there is freedom from abuse. In sharing my experience of domestic violence, I pray it will help you to make that crucial decision of leaving, plan carefully, and be safe. There is no excuse for abuse.
