Leon in Athens is a seven-part fantasy series for students of English at Pre-Intermediate level B1 or Key Stage 2. Leon and his family enjoy life in the ancient city, its sights and smells and sounds. Athens is a beautiful ancient city with many secrets and legends. In Book 1: The Boy and the Storm, Leon meets an old man who shows him how to look at the world in different ways. He finds a mysterious ancient object and is shadowed by a brooding black cat. Leon catches glimpses of his future. He learns that you see more about the world around you, when you look deeply.
