Bouffantee Debutantee

Bouffantee hails from Southern royalty, her beautiful grandmother Bipsy was the triple crown of Mississippi during her prime. Everyone expects Bouffantee to twirl that poodle skirt right where Bipsy left off, but Bouffantee has other plans. While Bipsy is the epitome of southern grace and charm, Bouf is more tompoodle. But as you know, the golden rule of the South is girls learn yes ma'ams early. So, in an effort not to disappoint her beloved Bipsy, Bouffantee reluctantly agrees to enroll in this year's debutante ball. However, when Bipsy cooks up a pageant preparation called the Debutante Dash consisting of 3 main events-The Dolly Pawton Strut, The Water Waltz, and the Poodle Caboodle, it all proves too much and Bouf finally voices her distaste for the pageant world. However, to her surprise, instead of disappointment Bipsy is proud of Bouf for finally letting her true self shine through. A lighthearted read with loads of Southern personality.
