Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The Classic of Poetry consists of four divisions. The Fe'ng, The Lesser Ya, The Greater Ya, and The Sung, terms which I translate respectively The Ballads, The Songs for the Minor Festivals, The Songs for the Greater Festivals, and The Hymns. The reasons why I have adopted these titles are given in the introductory notes to each part.
