Jarrod Stevenson is a Master vampire who has vanished, along with his sister, Janie, and friends, Indigo Akerfeldt, Darrin Geran and Lukas 'Fox' Foksworthy. After rewriting history, the lost five (as they've become known) have never been seen again, following an horrific night and bloodied battle at the Ranger Mansion. Now, twenty-two years later and armed with new information, Jarrod's son, Rayn, is leading a group of unhuman Special Forces soldiers on a mission to find them, by exploring mystical realms. But, with traversing realms comes infinite dangers. With the clock running and enemies at every turn, Rayn will have to call on everything he has if he's to bring the lost five back home alive.
