Blessed Sacrament God with Us

The Blessed Sacrament is the great "e;open secret"e; of the Catholic Church-the great truth that Jesus Christ is in the Tabernacle and is accessible to all who believe in Him. This truth is not immediately obvious, and thus it is not really appreciated as it should be. Yet He is always there, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, waiting for His faithful to approach, adore, and love Him-and let Him love them. There is no greater boon on earth-or even in heaven, for truly we say to Him: "e;What else is there for me in Heaven? And apart from Thee what have I wished for on the earth?"e; (Psalm 72(73):25) The Blessed Sacrament is God with us; what else could we ask for?The Blessed Sacrament: God With Us is a call to all Catholics to appreciate and love Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, for in that perpetual miracle is all the wealth of His love and our "e;heaven"e; on earth!
