Blackwood

Cody Blackwood was sold as a child to a slave-driving alien, Octavian, on his home planet, Dayroon. Haz Strayhorn and her brother, Cooper, find Cody and befriend him, deciding to bring him onto their ship, The Exoskeleton. In spite, Octavian rips through the galaxy, finding every way to break Cody's spirit and bring him back to compliance.
