With urban explorer Mila Vostrikov and information from ex-KGB archivist Grigori Pashenko, Aleksei discovers these sounds match fragments of ancient musical compositions throughout history. Their investigation leads them deep beneath Chernobyl to a secret Soviet facility called the Echo Chamber—designed to amplify and transmit consciousness across time. As Aleksei connects with the chamber''s technology, he realizes he''s been hearing these signals since his career-ending breakdown in Vienna years earlier. The music represents warnings and knowledge from human consciousness across different time periods.
