Black-faced Dog's Diary

A Black-faced Dog's Diary describes the joys and sorrows of five dogs: Pipi, Kaka, Huihui, Benben and Niba and their fates, presenting interesting stories about dogs and reflecting the difficult path to harmony between men and animals. At the beginning of the story, Pipi was bought and brought home by the master and made friends with Kaka. They stayed together every day. Pipi was upright and honest but Kaka was naughty and stubborn. They played the game "e;Bite Tail"e; invented by them and dealt with other animals such as cats, chickens, hedgehogs and ants. During the spring festival, the sound of firecrackers scared them. Pipi was sent to the home of the boss of the automobile decoration shop for several days. It met a dog named Huihui, was beaten unjustly and brought home by the master again. Though with many disasters, Pipi and Kaka never forgot their mission - safeguarding the master's home. When Pipi and Kaka lived a peaceful life, a pregnant dog Benben found them. Pipi and Kaka received the dog though they might be punished by the master and the kind-hearted master also accepted Benben at last. Though bad-looing, Benben made a great contribution to the master soon - jumping to the lake and fetching plastic bags and boxes that might pollute the environment in the park. Therefore, Benben was praised by the leader of the park and the master felt happy as well. In autumn, due to the relocation, Pipi, Kaka and Benben were sent to the master's old home - a mansion in a village temporarily. In the new environment, they had fun in another way and enjoyed themselves every day. They did not only have fun in the world, but had wonderful and exotic dreams to experience the magic wonderland. The naughty dog, Kaka made trouble repeatedly regardless of the master's warning, so the master sold it. But a few days later, the new master returned it because Kaka did not eat anything even though it was dying. So, the new master had nothing to do but returned it to the old master. The three dogs gathered together again. However, another dog in the village which was ill-treated frequently found them and it was named Niba. Though Niba could not join them, it refused to leave and stayed at the gate... Benben was going to give birth and the dogs fetched straws to build a delivery home. Niba worked particularly hard. Finally, the next generation - six dogs were born, and then they all felt relieved. The master was also very joyful. Thereafter, the master and the dogs knew each other better and became closer and closer.
