Bite Marks- an evident tool in Forensic Dentistry

The word forensic comes from the Latin word Forensis: public; to the forum or public discussion; argumentative, rhetorical, belonging to debate or discussion. In Roman forum, it means 'Public Square'. It may also refer to public discussion or debate. In general: "Forensic dentistry is the application of dental knowledge to those criminal and civil laws that are enforced by police agencies in a criminal justice system".
