This message was the result of the last world war. Its subject preoccupied me at that time because it was the subject of conflict in human life, and indeed in life in general, and I wanted to know a meaning for this conflict that the conscience was reassured about. So I ended up with the message with a meaning that had some or all reassurance, which is that truth and natural laws converge.I reprinted the letter two years after the last war, and I said in the introduction to the second edition: "I still believe after the war, as I used to believe before it, that zeal for what is right is the spirit of humanity, or a manifestation of its selfishness and the desire to remain in it. If a nation accepts to deplete the nations'' resources unjustly and then is content with this state, then this has signaled its dissolution, and it is tantamount to weakness of patriotism in the nation and weakness of vitality in the individual, both of which are harbingers of annihilation."Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad
