Biogas

Biogas is a product of the anaerobic digestion of solid organic biomaterials. Resulting gaseous mixture contains mostly methane and carbon dioxide and also traces of various compounds. In this book, the authors present topical research in the study of the production, consumption and applications of biogas. Topics include the effects of microwave irradiation on anaerobic digestion of mixed vegetable wastes; biogas production from solid waste and wastewater; biogas composition and utilisation; agricultural residues as new raw materials for biogas production and biogas and rumen fungi.
