Bike and Boots for Sale

Kevin Smith is a lively character. He enjoys skiing , climbing , canoeing, sailing and cycling. He keeps bees in Prestatyn, where he lives with his wife Jill. When Kevin retired from the Fire Service, he had already decided he was going to walk from Land's End to John O'Groats. Setting off and returning by bike from Prestatyn his amazing unsupported 3000km journey was carefully recorded in a grubby little diary. Kevin's trials, tribulations and torments on this expedition are detailed here in a good humoured narrative, the groans and grunts of the weary walker are more than offset by the fascinating tales of characters he met on the way. As for the title ...don't you believe it. Kevin was on that same bike only yesterday, he was going for a dip...in the Med, and his boots are still in the porch waiting for the next adventure!
