All Ahmir wants is to be a "big kid " With every attempt, he fails, makes mistakes, makes messes, and loses. Big Kid Book takes children on a journey through Ahmir's eyes. Ahmir realizes that defeat is a stepping stool for success, and being a 'big kid' is fixing your problems and learning from your mistakes- because everyone messes up sometimes. This book is poetic and allow children to be entertained while reading and watching Ahmir fail and then recover from his failure.
