Now with New Cover. This work uses the Orthodox liturgical calendar as a basis both to encourage daily devotions and to convey the flow-including feasts and fasts-of Orthodox life. It contains the New Testament scriptural readings (NKJV) for every day of the year and sections of the Old Testament to support the lectionary for the major feast days. Supplementing each Epistle and Gospel text are commentaries from the Holy Fathers. Writings from contemporary Orthodox theologians and scholars are also included. Three appendices and four indices.
