Bhakti Satsang

Congregational worship has been, and will always be, an aspect of paramount importance to the lives of many Hindus. It is therefore necessary to have maximum participation from all present when such Satsanghas are held. This modest publication is intended to offer an opportunity to follow fully, the proceedings at regular satsanghs. The Mantras, Bhajans and Prayers contained herein are taken from various books currently used in our Mandirs. This booklet brings some of them together for easy access, and of course will offer a great "e;togetherness"e; in chanting at our satsanghs. Transliterating mantras from Hindi to English poses a big problem as far as accurate pronounciation is concerned. Please listen carefully to these mantras as recited by your pandits, to read correctly. As you become more involved in your Mandir, it would be extremely beneficial to learn Hindi so that you may be able to read, speak and understand with little or no difficulty.
