Beyond Pretty

Written by former model and ANTM contestant B.C. Hatch (cycle 8), BEYOND PRETTY goes through each letter in the alphabet pairing pretty with empowering words for girls.

A is for pretty Ambitious; Girls who work hard to succeed. B is for pretty Brave; girls who don't back down, even when they're afraid. As it continues through the alphabet, it reminds us that girls go beyond beauty. Each word is highlighted positively while continuing on in a fun rhyme scheme to keep young readers engaged.

"Inspired by my daughter I decided to write BEYOND PRETTY as a way to encourage little girls, by highlighting qualities outside of looks that they we should recognize and embrace, and that they should be encouraged to grow and cultivate. Qualities like being ambitious, knowledgeable, funny, honest and caring. When we take the time to recognize these qualities we empower the girls we recognize them in."
