To escape purgatory and find salvation, Johnny must track down his creator before his pursuers.Through one misadventure after another, Johnny finds Judd, only to be cornered in the writer's apartment by an epic shootout between the mobsters and the NYPD. The shootout ends with the meanest cop in control. He orders the writer to make him the story's hero but Judd refuses to listen to the cop, to Johnny or any of his characters, leaving them all betwixt and between, or are they?
