The narrative and verse in this book span five generations, focusing on the nearly 100 years of my mother's life. The book is organized in three sections, love, life and leaving. Between the verse is the story of a family that sticks together through good and bad times, and shares their love and wisdom across the miles and across the generations, mother to daughter.
