Between Gods and Mortals Book I: Dragonborn

Five Amaranthine coveting godhood commit horrific actions against mortals and the world they share and are granted twisted versions of their desire. Dragonborn follows the story of Fayet and his own journey to humanity through learning and watching mortals over time while guarding his sister, Lizia as she weaves their lives. As time passes, Fayet notices a mortal woman named Ayshir. Interacting with her out of curiosity, they learn from each other over time and their companionship grows to love. Assuming a mortal shell Fayet leaves his path to penance behind and builds a family and home with her. However, the events preceding their union and the ones that that follow after, slowly bring a darkness that threatens to destroy his family.
