Between Awake and Sleep

Greya lost her husband three years ago making her feel like the world's youngest widow. At twenty-six she knew it was time for something to change in her life. She couldn't keep holding onto the past no matter how much she liked it there. She hated living in her current reality, but there was nothing she could do about it. When she moves into a new apartment for a fresh start, her new neighbour and NHL star, Owen, becomes the friend she didn't know she needed. Through an unlikely friendship, Greya starts to recover from her tragedy and embrace the idea of falling in love again.

Greya: The worst possible thing to ever happen, happened to me. The love of my life was taken from me because of a car crash almost three years ago and I'm only now starting to find my way without him. I needed a change and the lease on our apartment was up, so I took that as an opportunity for a fresh start. I'm not trying to erase him from my life, just trying to learn how to live it without him. The only problem is my new neighbour and NHL star Owen. I've never been the type of girl who fawns over professional athletes, especially hockey players, so having one next door to me is going to make for some interesting company.

Owen: This girl who just moved in next door to me is driving me crazy. Who doesn't like hockey? Okay, maybe some people, but still. We didn't exactly get off to a great start when she moved in, but she's here now so I'm going to have to learn to tolerate her. Oh, because she also happens to be my best friend and roommate's cousin. So yeah, I can't just ignore her.
