Betrayal of the Heart

In our pursuit to satisfy our desire for love, lust, happiness, and bliss, sometimes we encounter obstacles too intimate to overcome. Those obstructions may develop from within but sometimes it is a vague circumstance that prevents our desired path to personal harmony to be accomplished. It is then left to our own survival instincts to wake, breathe, and exist. It may develop into a daily internal struggle but we bear that cross and continue to live our lives. And even though our heart and soul may lie in ruins, a little spirit continues to dream. And that dream shall strive despite the obstacles.
