Best of Austria

The new sixth edition of Best of Austria again offers an impressive survey of Austria's contemporary architectural culture. It features some 170 buildings in Austria and designed by Austrian architects abroad that have been awarded national and international prizes in 2016 and 2017. Each building is documented with colour photographs and selected plans and a brief descriptive text. Individual architects and teams, as well as architecture institutions in Austria are also portrayed. An introductory topical essay provides an outside perspective and a detailed index of the various prizes rounds off the book.
