The year is 2030. Dawn Erskine is desperately vying for an independent Scotland. The young boy, Archibald, becomes king of all the UK after his parents and other royals died in a plane crash. His fury causes him to denounce Christianity and orders Druidism the new religion. Altars are placed throughout the UK. King Archibald denies Scotland's independence. Scotland crowns King Andrew I as its new king, and he orders the destruction of all altars to Druidism. However, even fifty years later, one altar cannot be found. The people of Beith remain under fear, for when people go out at night, they are taken and never returned.A group of secondary school students begin to seek the altar. Latrice, who is half witch, half Druid, believes that the high priestess is hiding the altar but can't prove it. Those who died while Beith was under the curse return in front of Agnes's house. Beith is eventually freed. Or is it?
