Before Zero

In a facility hidden from the world, Joshua awakens as a grown man, but with the mind of a newborn child. Under the care of a woman known only as Mother, he and the other men are taught to eat, speak, and take pills that won't let them dream, as dreaming is forbidden. When strange memories begin to torment Joshua, he decides to try to dream again. Before Zero is a dark and cerebral exploration of identity and morality that blends psychological horror and speculative fiction in a unique and new way.
