Beautiful Days: On Leave From Iraq

These Lyrical Poems are dedicated to my late Aunt and dear friend, Else Ehrenstamm Kramer, to her grandson and my second cousin, Paul Samuel Kurzweil, who died while attending Columbia University, on Route 80 in PA on December 3, 1994 at the age of twenty-one, to my Aunt's famous client, the late, Great Ray Charles, to Rob Light and Harold Frog t at CAA for phoning John McBride in Nashville in 2005, and finally and especially to him, for inviting me to mail and fax material of mine, that Else Brailed for Mr. Charles in 1981...which got me writing to another great musician again, twenty-four years later.
