While not as well known as "The Christmas Carol", "The Chimes" or "The Cricket on the Hearth"; "The Battle of Life" is a charming addition to Dickens'' series of five Christmas books, of which this is the fourth and is concluded by "The Haunted Man and the Ghost''s Bargain".
