Kings, castles, lords, knights, squires, war, love, and betrayal are just a small sampling in the first book in the two book series Battle and Betrayal. A Knight and His Squire takes place in the kingdom of Niedheim. The giants have long since sailed away to their home to the east. They took almost three hundred years to build the largest castle in the world for the protection of humankind. But why have they bestowed this gift upon humankind? Is it to protect them from a great evil that they have foreseen or to protect them from each other.
