Nothing could've prepared Clay for the burden he was destined to carry and the extent to which he would carry it. But as he stands alone in the dark recess of an alleyway, his rapidly changing DNA guides him through the process step by step, immersing him–and nearly drowning him–in every taste, calorie, and bite of food that has ever made its way past his lips until now. As his past begins to quickly catch up with him, Clay gets to watch and feel it happening in real time. The alleyway should be big enough, but the narrow set of stairs he came down from sure aren't.
