Barnaby isn't your typical worker bee. While the rest of the colony at Honey-Top Hive is content with their daily routine of collecting pollen from the same old daisies, Barnaby dreams of the legendary "e;Infinite Meadow"e;—a mythical land where flowers are as tall as trees and the nectar tastes like liquid sunshine.When a giant "e;Crystal Wall"e; (a human-built greenhouse) suddenly appears, cutting off the colony's primary food source, the hive faces a cold, hungry winter. The Queen is worried, the soldiers are restless, and the drones are confused.Barnaby, along with a hyperactive worker bee named Pip and a grumpy retired guard named Sergeant Stinger, decides to venture beyond the "e;Great Fence"e; to find the Infinite Meadow and save their home.Their journey is a wild, hilarious, and sometimes scary adventure across the Backyard Wilderness, where they must outsmart hungry bullfrogs, dodge "e;The Great Metal Grass-Cutter,"e; and face off against a rogue gang of wasps who want the Infinite Meadow for themselves.
