Awakening: Book 1 of the Homecoming Saga

All his life, Jake Connelly has dreamed of something more. Trapped inside a gigantic clear dome that covers his entire society, he longs to discover what the world outside is like. Shrouded in mysterious religious dogma, the history of his people speaks of a land outside that is certain death. Jake isn't so sure. Then by chance, he discovers an object that may allow him to leave, even though his faith says that it is impossible.
