Cyn, the vampyr goddess, lost everything in her human life: her crown as Kandake of Kush, her husband for whom she sacrificed her throne, her five year old daughter and her faith in God. She lost God himself. Because of it, she has lived in ultimate misery these last two millennia. Suffering and vengeance define her. In present day, a forbidden spell, The Chamesh, is being executed.
