Avalon Blue's Quest

Avalon Blue, past sixty but still adventurous, hides the secret initiations holding her hostage, forcing her to become a loner and travel the world dressed in eccentric clothes of her own design. She travels to Winter's Lee, a small northern fishing village on a whim. There she meets Lucian and Melanie, cousins and best friends who have given up on finding their soul mates. They are older now and have settled in Winter's Lee once more, planning to be bored to death until their demise from old age. That is, until an unexpected, muddy, squalling little messenger flings itself into their arms, beginning a new emotional, imaginative, journey.
