کہا جاتا ہے کہ شاعر کے فن پر اس کے گرد و پیش اور داخلی ماحول کا اثر پڑتا ہے۔ اس لحاظ سے اثر سعید کی شاعری ان کی زندگی کی ترجمان ہے۔ انہوں نے روایتی شاعری کا دامن تو تھاما ہے مگر ان کی شاعری میں ان کے دل کی آواز بھی محسوس کی جا سکتی ہے۔
