The beauty of the nature around it is timeless, but so are the human emotions that disturb the peace of this idyll: lies and prejudices, power and wealth, all these challenges must be confronted before the right hearts can find their way to each other. Christmas Presents (1891) As the town prepares for Christmas, the mother and sister of a young student are hard at work to give him a homecoming to remember. Without the money to buy grand presents, they must search for the spirit of Christmas in other ways. Family reunions bring old and new friends together to share their hopes for the future and make them come true.
