As She Wishes

Arthur Nacht and Cheryl Zane think they're the only ones in modern-day New York City navigating the bizarre rules of getting their dreams and desires granted by genies until they cross paths with a crafty and ruthless glassblower named Thomas Merdoch Roberts, who ambushes them and steals their respective artifacts - Gene, Arthur's genie, and the lamp belonging to Cheryl's genie, Barbara. Arthur and Cheryl are thus compelled to go on a quest to help their friends before the plans of this mad alchemist grants him a terrifying, infinite  wish-granting monopoly. But outsmarting a madman requires more than happy thoughts and wiggling fingers - it requires new allies, new tricks and a dangerous leap of faith.
