Riga, is an enigma to everyone, including herself. Designed by an unknown entity; given extraordinary survival skills, then thrown into a dangerous universe without any idea of why she was created, or what she was intended to accomplish means she is struggling to work it out for herself. Her new job with the government helps to keep her ahead of bounty hunters who are after the valuable manufacturing secrets contained within her. Then, unexpectedly it's not just the hunters that want her dead when she accidentally uncovers a well-advanced conspiracy. Without warning Riga is left alone except for her best friend, the ship AI, and forced to use all of their combined skills to stay ahead of the enemy who need her silenced to protect their plot.
