Arsène Lupin

Ars ne Lupin is a collection of stories by Maurice Leblanc recounting the adventures of Ars ne Lupin, Arsene Lupin is a gentleman, who "operates only in ch teaux and salons" and "man of a thousand disguises: in turn a chauffeur, detective, bookmaker, Russian physician, Spanish bull-fighter, commercial traveler, robust youth and decrepit old man." This master thief resembles Robin Hood in that he steals not for his own benefit, but for the benefit of others. The urbane scoundrel is involved in a series of amusing shenanigans in this book. The stories are sequential in nature, but they can also be enjoyed as stand-alone stories.
