Appointed to Wrath - Appointed to Salvation: "For God hath not appointed us to Wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us..." (1 Thessalonians 5:9,10). For many people who consider themselves to be Christian the above Scriptures support the false teaching that no man is appointed to God's Wrath because Christ died for everyone. It is of the utmost importance that one realise just who the author of this Scripture is addressing and who he is not. Paul is here not addressing every individual ever born but as an outcome of this study it will become increasingly self-evident that his words are exclusively directed to Christians
