Aphorisms and quotations: With examples and explanations

Aphorisms and quotations are essential for the nourishment of our intellect and for a good and civilized life.This book is based on my collection, over many years, of aphorisms and quotations, and it was a great pleasure to select a few of them to be included here.To be easy to read, I divided the book in two parts: Part I contains aphorisms and quotations starting in English, and the aphorisms will have their Latin or other language translations and examples.Part II contains only aphorisms starting in Latin and other languages, with their English translations and examples. Each Part has 10 Chapters, in which I grouped the aphorisms and quotations by subjects.My wife and I include several pictures which we took in Rome, Italy, to see the places where many of the Latin aphorisms and quotations were created, about 2000 years ago.
