Animoods

Animoods is a vibrant children's book series filled with rich ethnic diversity. The collection introduces adorable characters who share experiences as they learn how to navigate the complexities of emotional and behavioral regulation.

The Author's motivation for the Animoods collection is to increase awareness and decrease the stigma associated with Mental Health. While the goal is to raise awareness within all communities, the deeper-rooted intention is to alter how mental health has been viewed throughout generations amongst communities of color.

Halima the Hyper Hippo

Welcome to our first book of the Animoods collection entitled Halima the Hyper Hippo. Halima's book introduces topics related to impulse control, hyperactivity, social skills, effective communication, and positive reinforcement. The layout of the book creates a space for children to learn new skills, normalize emotions and behaviors while feeling validated and understood.
