Anhui Opera Troupe

This book is the first original novel with the theme of Anhui Opera Troupe entering Beijing. The novel kicked off with the successful performances of Peking Opera master Shang Chunhua's Farewell My Concubine and Mei Pai Da Qingyi Shi Yiling's Peking Opera exploratory play Notre Dame de Paris, telling a story about Anhui Opera Troupe entering Beijing. The story begins in the fifty-fifth year of Qianlong's reign, when Yu Laosi and Gao Langting led the Sanqing opera troupe to Beijing to celebrate birthday, and they were a great success. It shows the spirit of Huiling, represented by Gao Langting, of "e;acting on stage and being a person under the stage"e;; it reproduces the grand occasion of the four major Hui opera troupes gathered in the capital. It also shows the ups and downs of Hui tune, which has been repeatedly suppressed, but is still aggressive, widely sought after, and historically transformed into Peking Opera's ups and downs. The pioneering actions of Gao Langting and the Sanqing Opera Troupe led by him will go down in history forever; the culture nurtured in Anhui has also been carried forward and passed down with the intelligent and hardworking Huiling, becoming the quintessence of the country. The story of this book is wonderful, highly readable, and has the potential of film and television linkage; the context is clear and the brushstrokes are deep, fully excavating the regional culture of Anhui, and highlighting the local historical heritage; combined with detailed historical materials, the narrative is vivid, both literary and artistic.
