Angelina Williams Hopkinswas born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. The4th of 6 children, she attended Norfolk PublicSchools. She later attended the VirginiaPolytechnic Institute and State University(Va. Tech) and earned a doctoral degree inEducational Leadership and Policy Studiesin 2001. She was a high school teacher,assistant principal and high school principal.Dr. Hopkins later worked as Supervisor forMinority Achievement and Senior Directorfor Multicultural Services in a school division on the Upper Peninsula.In 2010, Dr. Hopkins founded SRPD, LLC. In her fi rst book, What If AngieDont Like Cabbage?: Triumphing from Foster Care to Adulthood (2010),Dr. Angelina W. Hopkins shares her lifes story as a foster child.Dr. Angelina W. Hopkins is a wife and mother of three young adult children.
