Our childhood is where we begin, but it is not where we end. In Andalusia and Other Poems, the reader is taken on a journey from the cornfields of the Midwest, through the imagined forests of medieval Germany, and through imagery that evokes childhood fairytales and ancient superstition. It is a story of grief but also of re-building.
