J.C., one of Tinker's closest friends, has nor returned from the universe of universes. He was last seen, out there, in the company of Mirf of Monetary Control. So, once again, Tinker and group venture out there to rescue him and then Mirf. And, as things always seem to happen, nothing is ever as simple as it is hoped to be. The complications spill over J.C. as well, much to his surprise.
