An Island Life

The arrival of baby Poppy May Scott in June 2017 signalled the start of a change in direction in the lives of Emma and Rory.

Their involvement in trying to regenerate village life opens their eyes to the possibility of a new and different existence based on a greater sense of community; a simpler existence with less reliance on material possessions and more time to spend together.

Would it be possible to develop an independent community that could survive and prosper in the modern world?

Through generating the idea, identifying a suitable site, recruiting the residents and overcoming challenges including the weather Emma and Rory live to realise their dream of a new life for them and their family.

How will others fare in adapting to this new experience and what will be the outcome?
