An Analysis of Distance Learning in Physics Degrees

This work consists of providing a brief historical overview of distance learning in physics in Brazil, as well as analysing how this teaching method was first applied in Brazilian institutions. Along the same lines, it seeks to demonstrate that even though it is a distance learning discipline, there is no reason to question or doubt the quality of teaching provided by the institutions that apply it.
