An Afternoon With God

As a South African woman of colour, Amble Riaandardh discovered that there is so much opportunity to grow from the lessons of life that can crack open a part of one's heart to allow a deep connection with that spiritual cord. This collection of poems is to stoke the poetic flame that glows in all our hearts.

We are intrinsically the Universe, within and without. Our Divine Energy is the basis of love and life. Survival in all situations is a soul search. There is but one common thread - an attachment to a Divine Energy, you and I. An Afternoon with God is a realisation that Divine Energy is as accessible as we want or need it to be.

This book bears testimony to rejoicing at the cracking open of a body, mind and intellect in a bid to survive. It is the epitome of a questioned existence, allowing the reader to become part of the experience or remain a witness to its unfolding messages in each of the poems.
