Always Looking For Home
Can Innocence Lost Be Regained?
In a memoir written like a novel and filled with a colorful cast of characters, follow a girl on a quest for redemption while she sleeps outside the White House to stop a war, travels the US with the Rainbow Family, and holes up with the Moroccan underground in Casablanca.Meet the activists, hippies, deadheads, and radicals traveling the country for peace while facing kangaroo courts and the Klan; and those risking prison or worse to live outside of a religious society's harsh rules.
In a true story like no other, peek inside an American subculture built on flower children, camping, and soup kitchens and read the diary of a troubled young woman with a haunting past searching for belonging, family, purpose, and most of all, home.

From the Author:
A Glimpse Inside A Hidden World
I wanted the girl I once was to tell her story without interruption. The result is a diary written like a novel. Living in subcultures as I have for most all of my life, I find the characters I meet and the choices I make tell the story best.Although real life can follow a fiction-like arc, the twists of life are surprising and unexpected, and the outcomes unpredictable.
I don't remember choosing to live in subcultures, it feels like I stumbled into it both by birth, and later, by desire to be part of a family, a group---something greater than myself that adds purpose and possibly, love
